How To Help

Shelter from rain, wind and sun is a basic human need.

Habitat for Humanity provides decent, affordable houses to families in need. Habitat homeowners gain self-respect as they work alongside volunteers to construct their homes.

Habitat for Humanity is an international organization that has built or repaired more than 400,000 houses worldwide for more than 2 million people since 1976.

With the help of generous donors like you, Habitat for Humanity of Martin County is turning lives around one house at a time.

A donation to Habitat for Humanity of Martin County means a unique opportunity to:
  • Partner with a low-income family to build a safe, decent home
  • Stabilize distressed neighborhoods
  • Strengthen the community’s tax base
  • Stimulate the economy by allowing families to spend much less on housing, therefore increasing disposable income
  • Receive a tax deduction
  • Offer a hand up rather than a hand out; encourages personal responsibility
  • See your faith and generosity in action
If you have questions about making a donation, please call (772) 223-9940 or e-mail info@habitatmartin.org.

This year, we hope to build 12 homes due to our county's need for affordable housing. Your contribution will help us reach this goal!
